In thse pictures, you have a bold and not-quite conventional way of bringing the centre of interest close to the centre of the picture. It has an unsettling effect on me, perhaps being given over to more conventional placement using the thirds or the golden mean (.382/.618). It is always good to challenge the norms of course. Where it begins to work in an interesting way is in the last of these images, where my eye will bounce from one side to the other, from the bench resting place to the final resting place on the right... a kind of "momento mori"... the splendid contrast and pattern of the upper branches ties it all together in a burst of autumn glory. Nice one!
